Will has not had his morning coffee since we left California. Sara has not put down her camera since before then. But we are still getting along great! We make a good team traveling – both have different interests which provides for a good variety of activities, but similar mind sets so we enjoy each others picks. (Only exception might be that Will will never be a shopper!) We have been pretty much on the same page but a few times have got annoyed with each other. Overall, we both feel like things are going great (and are still happy we’re married)! For those of you betting against us, there’s still time 🙂
Exploring Beautiful Singapore
Such a wonderful and clean city! All of the sidewalks and pedestrian paths were pristine. The city was full of well kept gardens and many skyscrapers even had garden levels. The top speed was 186 mph and the suburbs just whizzed past. By the time we found our hostel it was pretty late so Sara and I decided to eat there. After two meals and drinks the total bill was only $15 (I could get used to this)! The hostel was in Old Town and had many of the expected amenities other than weak plumbing that required all paper be thrown in the trash and only provided hot water during set hours.
On Saturday we started exploring the city. Continue reading
